Mary Cameron Born in Dundee, The City Of Discovery, started her career singing with the local opera societies. Her first leading part was Fiona in Brigadoon, this led to principal in operas such as "Carmen" "La Traviata", "The Marriage Of Figaro"," Lucia di Lammermoor" and "Dido And Aneas" which was performed in the presence of Her Majesty The Queen Mother, in the Superb setting of Glamis Castle.

TELEVISION & RECORDINGS
As her popularity grew in the Opera circle, she was soon approached by Scottish Opera to perform in their Opera Go Round production of "La Traviata", but sadly had to decline the offer for personal reasons. After turning professional Mary found herself in great demand for television work on shows such as the popular "Highway", Grampian TV's "A Musical Journey" and a number of Hogmanay shows. This exposure led to Mary's first Scottish album, which received great press reviews.

CAREER
Mary's career then took another direction working with the great Scottish names including Andy Stewart, Kenneth McKellar, Peter Morrison, The Alexander Brothers and Jim Mcleod. This allowed her to spread her talents across the Atlantic to Canada and America. Her classical work is still in demand with appearances on BBC Radio Two's "Friday Night Is Music Night" and replacing Isabel Buchanan at the Royal Concert Hall in Glasgow, singing alongside Robert Tear.
